Restore Our Shores

As a result of the devastating effects of hurricane Sandy, students attending Lavallete Elementary School in Brick Township have been displaced indefinitely due to a mandatory evacuation of the New Jersey barrier island.

Instead of dispersing into other school districts, Lavallete students will remain together and attend a temporary schooling site at Saint Barbara's Church in Toms River. 168 children are without text books, school supplies, a cafeteria, playground, or their award winning library. The school district will essentially need to build a make-shift school environment in the church with nothing but the love, donations and support of their local community...and the extra helping hands of Micah, Florencia and Sarah!

Micah, Florencia and Sarah are donating their joint birthday celebration to benefit the Lavallete Elementary School. In lieu of receiving traditional gifts this year, it's their birthday wish that friends, family and classmates make a contribution to this effort in their honor. Please share their mission with your children and join Glitter Lemonade and the Levine, Curchister and Miller families in championing their cause.

The most priceless gift Micah, Florencia and Sarah can receive on their birthdays is the power to make a difference : Donate
